Arthur Chen

Originally from Taiwan, I developed a passion for visual arts early on, receiving my foundational education in art before moving to Canada. My style is deeply influenced by my cultural background, blending Eastern aesthetics with Western animation techniques to create unique and compelling visuals.

With a diverse skill set in animation, matte painting, and illustration, I focus on storytelling and attention to detail in every piece I create. Beyond animation, I have also worked as a front-end web and graphic designer, using my creativity to craft engaging and impactful designs.

My experience in the animation industry includes working as a character animator on Rick and Morty (Season 3), as a background and prop supervisor on My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic (Season 9), and contributing to various Netflix, Nickelodeon, and Warner Bros. projects as a background painter and color artist.
